20 The wicked man writhes (A)in pain all his days,
And [a]numbered are the years (B)stored up for the ruthless.
21 [b]Sounds of (C)dread are in his ears;
(D)While at peace the destroyer comes upon him.
22 He does not believe that he will (E)return from darkness,
And he is destined for (F)the sword.
